Hey guys - looks like winners are always distinguished. I just stumbled upon the story given below - Interesting!
A 'Yes' Face

Charles Swindoll

(link - http://www.inspirationpeak.com/cgi-bin/stories.cgi?record=141)

During Thomas Jefferson's presidency he and a group of travelers were crossing a river that had overflowed its banks. Each man crossed on horseback fighting for his life. A lone traveler watched the group traverse the treacherous river and then asked President Jefferson to take him across. The president agreed without hesitation, the man climbed on, and the two made it safely to the other side of the river where somebody asked him: "Why did you select the President to ask this favor?" The man was shocked, admitting he had no idea it was the President of the United States who had carried him safely across. "All I know," he said, "is that on some of your faces was written the answer 'No' and on some of them was the answer 'Yes.' His was a 'Yes' face."

"The most significant decision I make each day is my choice of an attitude. When my attitudes are right there's no barrier too high, no valley too deep, no dream too extreme and no challenge too great." - Charles Swindoll

SO, ARE WE ONE OF THOSE GUYS WHO IS DISTINGUISHED FOR WHATEVER CHARACTERISTIC??!!!
Yeh Jo Mohabbat hai, yeh unka hai kaam,
Are mehboob ka jo, bas lete hue naam,
Mar Jaaye, mit jaaye, ho jaaye badnaam..

Rehne do chhodo bhi jaanedo yaar, Hum naa karenge pyar,
Hum naa karenge pyar....

(Sorry, I do not know the first paragraph, however read he second one below,
Its good -

Aankhen kisise naa ulajh jaaye main dartha hoon,
Yaaron haseenon ki gali se main guzartha hoon
Bas door hi se karke salaam.....

(This is an old hindi song - nice song.)

Two things that i liked in The Inception

Hi Guys

Sitting late in office today. Not really sure what am i doing or why am i here. tried surfing some random sites and got bored with that also. Thought blogging was the final refuge. Have tried to write something about 'The Inception' ( by Chris Nolan)

I generally do it to most of the Christopher Nolan movies - watch it more than once and believe me the second time I watch a movie I do find something newly appealing. Was watching Inception just a few days back for the second time and found two things very very appealing -

1) the idea that he (Leonardo DiCaprio) plants i his wife's mind - (Your world is not real); bcoz of which she commits suicide thinking she actually lives in a dream world that her current life may not be real. Yoiu might have to take a leap of faith to go to the real world.

Just give it a thought u never know, the idea may actually be real. The first time i heard about this was a "Education in Human Values" class in my 12th standard, when my teacher said:

'When u dream u actually don't realize it is a dream. It is only when u get up, u realize. Similarly, in our lives we can never really make out if we are actually living or it is just a dream while the real 'we' is sleeping somewhere. It is only when we get up we would.'

- Am i dreaming now???

2) Leonardo DiCaprio says to the 'projection of his wife' towards the end of the movie - "You actually are not my wife and I have to leave u. With all her perfections/ imperfections, with all her goodness/ badness; u r just the best i could create but then u r not good enough coz u r not her. (NOTE: the words may not be exactly the same but this as i have understood is what he means in his words)

Now, I do not know why this dialogue was so very good, but probably it takes us a bit deeper in thinking. (U can actually help me think and figure it out).

Bye, i guess this is enough for now. Now back to surfing and wasting my time.
